1. #ddHK: Creative Journey · Infinite Discovery

Creative tourism project Design District Hong Kong (#ddhk) will be running until February 14, 2025. The event brings visitors from around the world to explore the beautiful areas of Tsuen Wan and Sha Tau Kok. Embark on an in-depth exploration, and discover the creative elements, along with the cultural and natural offerings of the two neighbourhoods. This edition is the first to have creative designs at a declared monument, country park, and the sea. Admire the pop-up sculptures crossing over the local attractions at Sai Lau Kok Garden, Tsuen Wan Park, Shing Mun Country Park, and Sam Tung Uk Museum.

2. ‘Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In’ Exhibition

After its successful debut at the Hong Kong International Airport last year, the ‘Live Out the Cinematic Charm of Hong Kong Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In’ exhibition relocates to Kowloon City. In the second phase, visitors can continue to visit a recreated version of the movie’s setting. The expanded exhibition includes several new photo spots and Easter egg shots that were not included in the movie. In addition, visitors can also take home movie-related merchandise such as snacks, toys and film collectables from the new stalls at the exhibition.

3. M+ Cinema: Winter Edition

M+ Cinema’s Winter Edition presents a retrospective on Tilda Swinton that spotlights her collaborations with some of the world’s most renowned filmmakers. Furthermore, the weekend programme ‘Colours of Life: A Celebration of Indian Cinema’ takes viewers on a cinematic journey through beloved classics and contemporary films. Recent local releases such as Remember What I Forgot and The Way We Talk also have screenings to show the bonds formed within communities facing adversity.

The Indie Narrative Book Festival returns this month for its third edition! The event celebrates readers and creators and showcases comic art and storytelling with a focus on independent artists. This year’s edition moves to Tung Po in San Po Kong and includes over 120 creative booths, a comic art exhibition, risograph printing workshops, talks on publishing, a reading corner, and booking signings. Catch independent comic publishers and popular online writers who are attending.
